Speaking and Seminars

After Treatment is run by financial journalist Geoffrey Rogow — a reporter, editor and newsroom leader with more than two decades of experience at The Wall Street Journal.

As a reporter, Geoff filed stories from four continents and about a dozen countries around the world. His work won awards from Gerald Loeb, the Society of Professional Journalists, Investigative Reporters and Editors and many other organizations. As a senior editor at the Journal, he co-created Life & Work coverage and was the newspaper’s longest-serving Investing Editor.

Live Events, Television and Podcasts

Geoffrey hosted his own television program for many years at the Journal and has appeared on NBC News, Fox News, Sky News, and dozens of other channels around the world. He has interviewed prime ministers, leading economists, chief executives and even the only two-time winner of the Heisman Trophy.

He is also a regular speaker at live events, engaging on topics including cancer survivorship, medical research and technology, financial planning, insurance, and parenting.

Geoff interviewed parenting experts Emily Oster and Dr. Becky Kennedy at The Wall Street Journal’s Future of Everything Festival. (click on the image for each full video)

At the height of the Covid pandemic, Geoff was interviewed on MSNBC with Stephanie Ruhle after leading a deep investigation into a government loan provided to Kodak. His reporting received several awards, including from the Society of Professional Journalists.

Geoff was a regular live television and podcast host for Dow Jones’ shows, including The News Hub, The Afternoon Report and Barron’s Buzz.

Geoff interviewed with William Crager, chief executive and founder of one of the largest wealth technology platforms in the world, Envestnet.

Seminars

For employers, hospitals, health-care companies, non-profits and others interested in improving the lives of cancer survivors, Geoff offers seminars on the following topics. The seminars are built from hundreds of interviews with survivors and experts, as well as the latest in academic research.

The sessions can be tailored to fit the individual needs of your group.

For Managers. In this seminar, company managers will be given the tools needed to help those on their staff diagnosed with cancer, in treatment or in recovery. The material was created with the help of more than 100 interviews with survivors, health-care workers, benefits managers and others. (Duration: 30 minutes)

Money. In this seminar, survivors will learn how to lower their medical debt and build a plan to tackle likely higher medical bills for the rest of their lives. We also look to reset our relationship with money so that we can live fulfilling lives in the years ahead. (Duration: 30 minutes)

Health. In this seminar, survivors will be given a series of mental and physical markers from leading experts. The hope is that survivors -- and their caregivers -- will then have a better chance to spot when they are in need of intervention or simple tweaks to improve their overall health. (Duration: 30 minutes)

Purpose. Every cancer survivor is different. But we all reevaluate our purpose and life goals in the years after cancer. This seminar will help reset your life goals so that you can focus your time on the tasks that matter most. (Duration: 45 minutes)

Rates for consulting, speaking and seminars are available upon request. Please contact [email protected] if you are interested.
